Not even kidding, babe.
If you’ve been living under a rock this year then you’d be unaware that video has literally taken over the latter half of 2017. Seriously. EVERYONE is on video. And you should be too.
WHY you ask?

I don’t know about you but I love watching video and experiencing things through other peoples eyes. It’s like opening up yourself to a whole different world.
It’s also scary as hell. I get it.
But the real reality here is… video is Queen and you’re going to need to hop on board.
Still not convinced? Here are some kickass stats.
More video content is uploaded in 30 days than the major U.S. television networks have created in 30 years.
72 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every 60 seconds.
Marketers who use video grow revenue 49% faster than non-video users.

So, as I said, video is the shit.
But before you get ahead of yourself let me give you some advice.
You’re not going to cut it if you’re only posting 1 video every 2 or 3 months. That’s just the truth. Video content is SUCH a powerful tool, but only if you use it right. Getting serious with video production is a total must. So pick a posting schedule and stick to it. Just like anything else in life you’ve got to stick to something before you can make it work. Do the same with video!
Also, unless you’re a secret video ninja, your first 10 videos are probably going to suck. And that’s just the way it is. Every single big YouTuber out there has some pretty rough videos if you scroll all the way back. But hey, it’s a learning experience! Don’t let it discourage you from using video in your business.
Speaking of video in your business…. remember just that! It’s for your business. You don’t have to look at video in the way that really everyone else does. Becoming a YouTuber. While you will be recording video and obviously putting it SOMEWHERE, you don’t have to do this whole rebrand and become a “YouTuber”. Think of YouTube as just an extra tool within your business to help you reach your audience and grow the business of your dreams.
Okay… can I just add one more thing?
BE YOURSELF BOO!
I am veeeeeeery aware that with blogging and YouTube on the rise 24/7 there’s a lot of temptation to be like other successful people out there. The #1 thing I’m legit begging you not to do is to be like everyone else. There’s already enough people like that out there! So girlfriend, do your own thang. I promise you it’s going to attract everything that you will need.
